This policy explains how Aldes Africa ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit this website or contact us through it.
Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry, contact form or message to a broker, we collect the details you give us:
- your first name and surname
- your email address and, if you provide it, your mobile number
- your preferred method of contact
- the country you select or enter, and the type of enquiry where asked
- your message, and the opportunity or broker it relates to
We also record the IP address the form was sent from, to help us prevent spam and abuse.
How we use your information
We use the information you share only to:
- respond to your enquiry and put you in touch with the right person in the Aldes network
- send you a confirmation that we have received your enquiry
- keep a record of enquiries so we can follow them up
- protect the website and our forms from spam and automated abuse
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry may be shared within the Aldes Business Brokers network, for example with the broker or agency your enquiry relates to, so that they can help you. We also use trusted service providers to host this website and send email, who process information only on our behalf.
Cookies
This website uses only essential cookies needed for it to work, such as a session cookie and a security token that protects our forms. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Cloudflare Turnstile
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our enquiry forms from spam and automated abuse. Turnstile runs in the background when you use a form, and in most cases you will not need to do anything. To tell people and bots apart, it collects technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address, browser details and the website the form is on. Cloudflare uses these signals to detect and block bots and to improve its bot detection.
Turnstile is provided by Cloudflare, Inc. Your use of Turnstile is subject to the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to respond to you and follow up, and to meet our legal and business obligations. After that, they are deleted.
Keeping it secure
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. To make a request, email us at geoff@aldesafrica.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
