Geoff Evans

Geoff Evans, Director of Aldes Africa and Aldes Mauritius, is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and a member of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants. He is an experienced enterprise leader who has guided the financial direction of growth-focused organisations. His international career spans more than a dozen countries across Africa, Europe, Asia, South America and the Middle East, including Mauritius, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Dubai.

Most recently, Geoff served as Group Chief Financial Officer of Maast Maritime in Mauritius, and he is a director of EFT Africa. He is also a hands-on entrepreneur. He was co-owner and Managing Director of Nashua South Coast, and he holds leadership and ownership roles across hospitality, green technology, media and coffee. These include Managing Director of Rosetta Hotel, Financial Director of Solarrain, and co-owner of True North Media and Green Bean Coffee Company.

Geoff's expertise covers structuring acquisitions, turnaround operations, corporate governance, risk management and strategic financial planning. He has sat on both sides of the table as an owner and as a CFO. This gives sellers rigorous financial insight into their business's value and gives buyers the confidence to complete a transaction across borders.
